How do I get an English version of a foreign-language article?

Our document delivery service does not offer translation services and foreign-language articles do not typically have English versions.  At most, an article's abstract will be in English.

Here is our document delivery/inter-library loan department's FAQ on translation services:

Content Management and Delivery sent the article, but it is written in a language other than English. Is it possible to obtain the English language version or a translation of the article?
When searching OVID or PubMed, titles that appear between brackets [ ] will be in a language other than English. Unfortunately, the Library does not have the staff available to offer translation services.  The IUPUI World Languages and Cultures department may know which graduate students or faculty might offer translation services for a fee.  The American Translators Association website has a “find a translator or Interpreter” feature.

Google Translate might be a useful tool for an initial review of a non-English article.
