What is Creative Commons?
Answer
Creative Commons is an organization that oversees and releases Creative Commons licenses for free. These licenses can be used by content creators to relinquish some of the rights that copyright law initially grants. This is to allow for other creators to use the works without the need to seek formal permission.
Creative Commons has four different features, which can be combined to create a variety of licenses.
The Creative Commons website has more specific information of each feature and license.
